In case you missed it, a few weeks ago I unveiled my top 5 traffic as they rank right now.  It just so happens that a lot of that traffic is coming from social media.

Now, I am no expert in traffic generation by any means.  But, this stuff is all working for me so I decided to put together a series of posts outlining how I use each of these five traffic sources.  Trust me, there are a lot of goodies in here!  ;-)

twitter_logoNow that you have an account, have done some following and have some followers it’s time to contribute and meet some new people.  (Note, for the first few weeks I suggest following people in your niche or interested in your niche so that you build a base of people to build relationships with.)

Election Is Twitter the ONLY place to get started with your social marketing efforts?

Facebook is definitely another place to get started.  I have had the most success with Twitter but I have also put more time into using Twitter.  I have only recently ramped up my Facebook efforts because I was already seeing success in the small amount of effort I was putting into Facebook.
